    After reviewing the very vague wording in the handout provided by the town, I had a meeting with Andy Barton, the town administrator, to try to clarify what this tax would cost us.     Landowners Leslie and Abigail Wexner will withdraw their request for Pitkin County's support of a proposed Carbondale-area land swap unless county commissioners want to meet and discuss what's on the table.

    From 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at the Garfield County Human Services Building in Rifle, a two-hour overview training will equip disaster responders with the skills necessary for providing emotional support to disaster survivors. Psychological First Aid is a job aid for responders allowing them to assist survivors in managing adaptive functioning during or following a disaster.
